Are you a technical work planner with a background in electrical engineering and industrial installations? In this role, you play a key part in preparing, planning and coordinating maintenance activities for our production lines. You will work closely with Production, Maintenance and external parties to ensure our installations remain safe, reliable and efficient.

Work planner, what will you do?

As a Work Planner E&I, you are jointly responsible, together with a fellow work planner, for the efficient preparation, planning, facilitation and documentation of maintenance, repair and inspection activities on our installations. You ensure that maintenance work, modifications and project-based adjustments are well prepared and executed in a controlled manner, directly contributing to the continuity of our production processes. You assess new work orders, prepare job instructions and coordinate with Production, suppliers and colleagues within the Maintenance department. You are able to balance time spent on the shop floor with desk-based planning activities.
  • Preparing and recording maintenance and inspection activities in McMain.
  • Creating task step plans (work instructions) and collecting drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
  • Identifying safety aspects and risks and preparing appropriate control measures.
  • Determining required materials and reserving them in the warehouse or ordering them from suppliers.
  • Requesting and evaluating quotations in cooperation with the Purchasing department.
  • Selecting and coordinating external specialists for specific or complex activities.
  • Providing input for replacement and improvement of (production) installations and maintenance processes.
  • Supervising modifications, implementation and commissioning of installations.
  • Supporting projects and the installation of new machines.

You are driven, enthusiastic and structured in your way of working. You have an open attitude and are not afraid to ask questions to obtain the right information. You are communicative, socially skilled and have a customer-oriented and proactive mindset. You keep your agreements and are motivated to further develop yourself towards a role in which you independently define, prepare and coordinate activities from start to finish.
  • MBO+ level of working and thinking, obtained through a completed technical education in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics;
  • Experience with maintenance of technical installations and knowledge of control systems, frequency drives and process monitoring;
  • Experience with ERP systems and MS Office;
  • Good command of the English and Dutch language is required; knowledge of German is an advantage;
  • Experience in reading machine drawings and interpreting technical manuals;
  • Strong communication and administrative skills.

  • Salary: Between €3,870 and €4,750 gross per month (scale 9), based on a 40-hour workweek.
