You are the link between technology, service delivery, and the internal customer, making sure that our systems are stable, secure, and future-proof. Team Leader ICT: What will you do?

As Team Leader ICT, you organize, coordinate, and optimize the daily IT operations. You safeguard the continuity of technical systems, ensure a customer-oriented service desk, and keep our ICT & OT infrastructure in top condition. You combine technical expertise with leadership and know how to structure processes efficiently.
You report directly to the IT Manager and work closely with colleagues in Operations, Engineering, HSE, and external suppliers.

ICT & OT Infrastructure

  • Safeguard the availability, continuity, security, and performance of systems based on ISO27001/2 controls.
  • Resolve (imminent) disruptions and bottlenecks in a 24/7 production environment.
  • Technical management and optimal configuration of servers, networks, storage, and workplaces.
  • Further professionalize and execute management procedures based on ITIL processes.
  • Manage contracts and licenses, and direct suppliers based on internal and external SLAs.

Service Desk

  • Coordinate reports, incidents, and requests within agreed SLAs.
  • Optimize supporting processes such as inventory management, release management, or business continuity.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex user questions.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and improve the user experience.

Management and Organization

  • Lead, guide, and coach the ICT & OT team.
  • Plan and coordinate daily activities.
  • Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional development.
  • Encourage cooperation within the department (project management and security & privacy) as well as across departmental boundaries.

HSE Supervision

  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulations.
  • Coach and hold employees accountable for working safely.

We think ahead, act decisively, and invest in both our factory and our people.As Team Leader ICT, you will work primarily from our Maasvlakte location, in a team of dedicated IT specialists at both sites who together ensure a safe, stable, and innovative ICT & OT environment. Given the importance of the role and the dynamics within Sif, physical presence and visibility are essential. A (minimum) monthly visit to the Roermond facility is required for proper coordination within the team.
You have extensive experience in IT operations and feel at home in a dynamic industrial environment. You are a strong leader who maintains oversight, dares to make decisions, and always keeps safety, quality, and customer satisfaction in focus.
  • Bachelor’s level education, preferably in Technical Computer Science or IT Management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within IT operations or management.
  • Knowledge of ICT and OT infrastructure, cloud (Azure/M365), networks, and security.
  • Familiar with ITIL, ISO27001/2, SLA management, and monitoring tools.
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Salary: Market competitive and aligned with your experience.
  • Holiday allowance: 8%.
