As Application Administrator, you ensure that our business applications – particularly our ERP and BI environment – function optimally. You are the link between users, developers, and suppliers, translating requirements into practical solutions. With your knowledge and dedication, you guarantee reliable systems, successful implementations, and satisfied users.

Application Administrator: What will you do?

As Application Administrator, you are responsible for the functional management of our ERP system (D365 F&O) and other business-critical applications. You analyze processes, manage workflows, ensure proper user and license management including the roles and rights structure, align requirements with stakeholders, and oversee updates and changes. In addition, you safeguard knowledge within the organization and support projects with your application expertise. You report directly to the Team Leader ICT and work closely with Finance & Control, HR, Key Users, and external IT suppliers.

Application Management

  • Analyze processes and their alignment with current IT applications.
  • Manage workflows, roles, and permissions in D365 F&O.
  • Translate user questions and requirements into functional designs.
  • Support users by creating forms, reports, etc.
  • Assess the impact of changes on systems, lead times, costs, and processes.
  • Align designs with users and stakeholders.
  • Manage functional documentation and authorization structures.
  • Handle incidents and change requests via the ticketing system.

Releases

  • Discuss functional designs and changes with suppliers.
  • Evaluate change proposals for quality, costs, and planning.
  • Ensure implementation of changes, user testing, and release.
  • Follow up on outstanding issues and changes.

Knowledge Transfer

  • Draft and maintain work instructions for users.
  • Train Key Users and ensure knowledge retention within the organization.
  • Answer and resolve questions from Key Users.

BI Environment

  • Take ownership of the current data warehouse and ensure a stable environment.
  • Responsible for incidents and changes in the BI environment (data warehouse and reports).
  • Future-proof the entire BI environment (from ETL process to reporting).

HSE Compliance

  • Comply with all applicable HSE standards and procedures.
  • Identify unsafe situations and report them to management.

Together, you ensure a safe, stable, and innovative ICT environment.
You have experience in the functional management of business applications and know how to align users and suppliers. You are analytical, a strong communicator, and feel responsible for delivering quality.
  • Bachelor’s level education, complemented by knowledge of IT or Information Management.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (D365 F&O), BI, SSRS, SQL, and Microsoft environments.
  • Experience with functional management and process analysis.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in adoption projects.
  • Solution-oriented, analytical, and proactive.
  • Salary: Market competitive and aligned with your experience.
  • Holiday allowance: 8%.
