ABOUT THE APPLICATION PROCESS
Our recruiters always kick things off with an introductory meeting, possibly online, to get to know you better and find out what you want. During this meeting, they’ll also be happy to tell you more about Sif and the possibilities at our company.
In the first interview with your future manager, we discuss the position in more detail, and the best way to make sure it suits your ambitions and wishes. Obviously, you’ll be given plenty of opportunity to ask questions about the position and working at Sif.
In the second conversation, we will focus on making the match. This session will center around your talents and skills, as well as your motivation and how you plan to fulfill the role. We will discuss your strengths, drives, and ambitions to see how they align with our expectations. If all goes well, a third conversation may follow with an offer.
Yes it does, and we use different types of assessments. For some positions, we use a game-based assessment. This involves testing your skills and competencies through a game, usually at the beginning of the process after the initial meeting with the recruiter. For other positions, a more extensive assessment may be required. In the context of your privacy, we only discuss the results of your assessment with you, the manager involved and the HR Business Partner.
A game-based assessment is a test designed to evaluate your skills and competencies. Instead of tedious multiple-choice questionnaires or number sequences, you are assessed through a game. This approach feels much more natural and enjoyable.
You can prepare for an assessment by familiarising yourself with the types of tests you might face. It’s important to stay calm and focused in a game-based assessment. Ensure you have a quiet environment where you won’t be disturbed. For other assessments, it’s important to be yourself and honestly showcase your skills. If you have specific questions about the assessment, you can ask the recruiter in advance.
A shadowing day or half-day is an excellent opportunity for finding out what working at Sif really feels like. These shadowing days also allow us to get to know you better. For some positions, a shadowing day is part of the procedure. If this is not the case, but you’d like to spend a day with us anyway, please let the recruiter know. Then we can look into the possibilities.
